Rand Airshow 2011
Having two airshows on one weekend in close proximity is both good and bad. Good because I can do one trip up from Durban and bad as you get to see the same aircraft (well almost) two days in a row!
Good weather was the order of the day - two days in a row which was great for the organises of the Swartkop and Rand airshows. Rand airport is fairly flat so visibility is good and the organisers install us photographers out on the airfield so we are almost right in the action unlike most other airhsows where we are stuck along the crowdline. The cameraderie and chirping goes on all day. Great fun is had by all!
